Oh my, yes, I am so guilty of leaving you in the lurch and taking an extended and unannounced bloggy break. I have been thinking of this space constantly, and I am excited to jump back in and share thoughts, ideas, projects, happenings, et al.

From The Summertime (Not Now)

Back during the summer months we were on a stretch of enjoying our morning coffee in the bright and birdy backyard. It was a ritual and I was glad when we would remember. It's strange to me that something such as this, these small pleasures can sometimes seem like a hastle. Like, "oh it would be nice to go out in our big backyard (big, by urban standards) and start my day with the warm sun on my skin, but I can't fathom getting dressed in order to do so." But on the days that we indeed had our wits enough to don proper backyard attire, we so much did enjoy starting the morning that way.
