Last week I did a bunch of designs to print on fabric and wrap around frames to use as a headboard. After much deliberation, I realized that I am a bold, graphic, vintage-inspired print sort of girl. I had done quite a few variations with a subtler palette and more geometric shapes, but they were just not doing it for me. I also wanted to draw the print by hand. So the swatch above was uploaded to Spoonflower and I am awaiting the test print. I am very curious to see how the color will reproduce. I did three other prints besides this one so each panel will be different. I will certainly share the results, so stay tuned. I can not wait to see! Of course this is just a temporary fix, but a wonderful excuse to design/print some fabric.
Finally, I will risk sounding like a Cathy comic strip and say: TGIF! Oh, office humor!
