This week's word is mint, Liz's is on top and Kalli's piece is on the bottom. For Easter I made brunch for Ryan and I. We had an eggy breakfast casserole that is a tradition of sorts in our family. I also made a fruit salad from Ina Garten's book, here is the recipe. It was really delicious and topped with a sprig of mint. It was so beautiful and green and I photographed it from every angle. This micro shot was most interesting to me, I love that vibrant color and texture. Kalli is working on a fabric pattern for Spoonflower. She says, "Just wanted to make a green/minty/herbal kind of pattern for Spoonflower. This shows how they automatically repeat it on the left and with closer detail on the right." Cute! I love the leaves with the dotted outline. Can't wait to see the printed fabric.
