My sincerest apologies for posting Tuesday's art project on Wednesday this week. Yesterday after work I went to Michael's (the craft store) and when I got in my car to leave, it wouldn't start. Oh, nice. So Ryan and I spent our evening waiting on a tow truck driver and finding a decent garage. But I digress, let's skip to the good part. This week's word is Pool, Liz's piece is on the top and Kalli's is on the bottom. I really enjoyed this word, pool conjures up some great images. I kept thinking about the beautiful tiling in pools. Blue and green are my favorite colors so it was a treat to use them in this monochrome way. I LOVE KALLI'S! My gosh it is so pretty. I love everything about it; the colors, the jars, the light, the wood, for crying out loud! Here is what Miss Kalli has to say about it, "I really like the color of swimming pool water, so I made a sort of water sculpture using watercolor pigment and my collection of yogurt glass jars." Fantastic!
