Liz & Kalli Special Edition

Whoa! I haven't been here in a while. We are back from vacation and life is moving at a mile a minute. We have a whole lot going on, not the least of which is buying a new car!! Plus, we are still a bit in vacation mode and fuzzy-brained. I'm sure we will get ourselves all up to speed only to turn around and head for my sister's wedding next weekend. Phew, well in the meantime, I want to take a breather and bring you this very special edition of Tuesdays, er Thursday, with Liz & Kalli. Before I left for vacation, Kalli and I decided that we would post a photo of something that we saw in the past week when I returned. Mine is on top and Kalli's is on bottom. I love the decidedly different feel of these two photos. On Ryan's birthday we explored the Natchez Trace Parkway, one of the most beautiful stretches of road in the country and definitely one of the most beautiful my eyes have seen. The parkway winds its way through the forrest and you can stop and ponder nature and waterfalls, just as I am doing above. Kalli's photo is such a sharp contrast with it's urban feel, lines and architectural details. She snapped this gem in Echo Park the other day and says, "I'm sure you can guess the brand." Oh yes, yes I can.
