Oh my, it never ceases to amaze me how similar our projects/pieces can look from week to week. In this 25th week of Tuesdays with Liz and Kalli, the word is night. Liz's photo is on the top and Kalli's necklace is on the bottom.

I was out snapping shots tonight and caught quite a few that involved the moon and silhouetted palm trees, or the moon and birds in flight. Since the moon is just a mere sliver tonight, I decided to go with just the moon in the huge expanse of gray sky. I like it because the moon feels so distant, so far away, but at the same time it is so familiar and everyday, er, I mean every night.

Kalli made this gorgeous necklace that was inspired by night. She says, "This week I made a necklace for night that I wanted it to look a little bit like bright spots of light (stars?) against dark metal (dark sky?) I used frosted glass beads, silvery faux pearls, bronze wire and antique brass chain."
