Hello, this Tuesday art project is coming to you on Wednesday morning. The word this week is rose, Liz's is on the top and Kalli's is on the bottom.

Mine is very straightforward this week. I simply wanted to draw a vintage style painted rose in a modern and digital format. I am pleased with the way it came out. Roses are such complex, layered shapes. I love them, they truly are classic.

Kalli's concept is so funny here, these are her words about her piece: "These are anti-Valentines... for people who need to break up with someone, or gently tell their stalker to vacate the bushes. Roses can be delicate, sweet, romantic, sexy, etc. but personally, blood-red roses make me think of being wicked." Brilliant, Kalli!
