Gosh, I'm not sure if I even still know how to create a blog post! Ha, sorry for that unannounced and long hiatus. The reason it was unannounced is because it was unplanned. Life just seems to be filling up every second lately without a moment to spare, except for right now so I should get right to it! I am many weeks late on this Liz and Kalli project (thank you for your patience Kalli) The word for this one is cutout. Liz's is on the top and Kalli's is on the bottom.

Amongst my many happenings these last few weeks has been lots of project time. With project time, comes a lot of cutting that needs to be done. This is what the cutting mat looked like on a particular day a few weeks back.

This is a mobile made with paper snowflakes. Next time I might make one with cutout animal shapes or something. Don't know why I never thought of it before, but when I used a tiny hole-punch for the little dots, it looks pretty cool backlit. Then I made it more dramatic in Photoshop.
Very cool image Kalli, the black and white and hard shadows reminds me of The Twilight Zone. That's probably because I have been watching that show lately. It does feel slightly ominous though, don't you think?
