Rylie noticed the tree in the house after she came up from gumming the front of her Baby Björn within an inch of its life. That is her favorite thing to do these days; drool all over everything. Good thing I can throw that carrier straight in the wash! Anyways, she was a bit surprised to find a tree in the house. I was surprised we managed to get our tree so early this year! We drove around to a few different tree lots looking for the perfect one on Friday and settled on a beautiful Noble Fir from a nearby nursery. I love having it up so early to be able to enjoy it for a few extra days. Perhaps this can be a new tradition for us. Our first family tradition. Oh, and I should mention that both our pre-Thanksgiving and our actual Thanksgiving meals were wonderful, delicious, and indeed made me very thankful to have the privilege to eat great food.
This week I am busy - really busy - working on my new fabric collection. I hope to have a little something to show you in the next few weeks or so. I have been squeezing in the moments here and there to work on it and it is coming along quite nicely. It's challenging with Ryan working full time, but I get right down to business once Rylie's naptime and bedtime rolls around. I also have been working extra long on the weekends when Ryan is here and can take over Rylie duty for a while.
And Sugar Pop! ships to stores at the end of December. I have seen it popping up online here and there already. So exciting! Things are eventful in this neck of the woods, just in time for the holidays! But December would not be December if we weren't all mad dashing here, there and everywhere.
